Not so much a fever for Elizabeth and I - more like a mild rise in temperature and a slight increase in our pulse rate.
Neither of us are huge soccer fans, but we have enjoyed watching the matches in which The Netherlands and England have been playing.
Elizabeth is not a big fan of watching sport - she prefers to play and I only really enjoy watching England play cricket in the summer.
Nevertheless Alexa has been playing us “football’s coming home” and Elizabeth has been reading articles about the Dutch team and Manager.

I have been supporting the Dutch team too since I would like to see a final involving England v The Netherlands. That would certainly make for interesting viewing!
Perhaps then Elizabeth will dye her hair Orange and I will wear my three lions shirt…
This evening we are having and early dinner so we can watch the quarter final match between The Netherlands and Argentina.
Tomorrow it is England’s turn in the quarter final against France.
I hope these guys can take us through….
