The man in the mask.

I am not sexist. I would like to show you the woman in the mask too but she has strict rules about no photos of her on the blog. In fact we mostly won’t be posting any pictures of ourselves. This is not Facebook or Instagram! But I thought I could compromise with a mask picture.

Our friend Dee made us some beautiful masks. Above is the one made for me and here is Elizabeth’s:

I also have some other cloth ones and a package of disposables which I keep in the car.

I’m envious of my grandson Alden’s dinosaur mask though:

Elizabeth and I don’t often have to wear our masks but we do so when required I suppose from now on this will become normal behaviour for everyone.  But we do see individuals who seem to ignore the danger they are putting people in by not wearing a mask when in close proximity to others. I hope people will start to see masks as a fashionable accessory and that wearing them will be the norm rather than the exception. There are hundreds of trendy designs out there.

We are still in quarantine but only have two days to go!  A routine day for us with not much going on except our enjoyment of being together.

We are having an experimental meal for dinner. (We have not tried it before). This consists of portobello mushrooms stuffed with vegetables cooked in garlic oil and soy sauce.  These will be oven baked.

We have now completed our binge watching of “Endeavour” and tonight we move on to “Lewis”.

All in all another day in paradise.
